POVIM Process AVHRR With this program it is easy to generate more images at a time. Before starting
the program you must define once what images you want. This is done with
notepad in a simple text-file. Then start the program and you can select an
AVHRR-file. With one click on a button the program starts HRPTReader and all
pre-defined images are generated. If the output file already exsists you get a
warning. The existing file is shown on the right site of the screen. The advantage
is that you can controle if the image is OK.
When is this program useful
Most easy way of course is to run the HRPTReader in batch. Then you can use
this program for checking if all files are executed. For instance if you use
RenameAVHRR to make images rounded on 15 minutes then it's possible that
you miss an image if it's in the same 15-minutes-span. Here you can control it
and -if you want- correct it.
If you don't run HRPTReader in batch then with this program you can immediately
generate a couple of images.
If you want to control a lot of parameters you best run HRPTReader interactive.
