POVIM Scales

General
This program can add a movable popup window with a scale to any program you want. It can e.g. be used with  GribViewer and HDFViewer from David Taylor. When I wrote this program David was modifying his programs to add scales.  As long as it’s not finished this program can be a help.

How to use
Start “scales.exe”. The popup window will always stay on top until you quit the window.
Click on “Scale” and choose the wanted scale.
With the cursor on the small hand in the upper left corner and the left-mouse button down you can move the window  over the screen.
Quit will end the program.

Adding new scales
This is very easy. If you see a new scale on an internet site you can copy the scale to a .jpg file. See the readme file for how-to-do.

If you add new scales please send them also to me. I will add them to the zip-file.
